Sudden Twist of Irony

Why do we even invest in a market like this? Luckily for me, this morning when I mucked up a few trades, I got pissed off and decided to sell a whole bunch of stuff moving me around 70% in cash. Hindsight, this was a fantastic move, as I was away the whole day due to another excruciating interview.

Had I not lost money this morning on dumb trades via FSLR & EFTC, my account could have been blown to pieces-- while at this meaningless interview.

Listen to this, I had DRYS, BIDU, VMW, MA, ICE, JASO, (These stocks were destroyed today!) the above stocks were sold this morning before the reversal. Had I held onto these worthless pieces of paper, I might have declared bankruptcy like ETFC will do (not really). In a sudden twist of irony, I ended up winning when I lost. Saved by a few bad trades!

What an ugly tape for the leaders..
This ETFC news will hit the newspapers tomorrow and hopefully we hit a short term bottom. I'm going to sit on the sidelines until I see that August low tested. There are so many red flags right now and very little panic...
When I'm this uneasy on the markets, the best place to be is the golf course.

Blue,

the timing was pure dumb luck. The interview went great, but so did the last 15.

Cheese,

I need to get to the golf course, I will drive my self insane watching the tape.

Pending home sales tomorrow, and HD reports. Could be more bloodbath. And yet, I stayed long a homebuilder BZH overnight. I must be insane.

Glad you lived to fight many more days cajun.

The writing has been on the wall the past week. But, you got too confident and Mr. Market laid the smackdown on you. Get back up and start trading objectively like you did last month.

Sure did. Mother Market laid the smack down on me!
