What a volatile day! Pre-market up huge, then down 100, then up 100, finally we end flat. I made some good money off the volatility with daytrades in XTO, SIRF, and TARR (I missed VMW). I'm holding NVDA over night, hopefully TXN gives us a good mid-quarter update. The only position I took today, that I will hold longer-term, is ICE-- the stock is cheap.
In short, it makes sense to daytrade the volatility while hunting for cheap stocks.

Nice! Listen, you start turning into a daytrading fool and you'll have to get a berth in the VO.
