Dreams Do Come True

My graduation is today and the time you read this, I might be walking across the stage. It is defiantly is an exciting time with family and friends from all over Louisiana coming to visit.

This past week I have taken a little break from the market mainly to search for a future career and take care of some things. I must say it was a bad week to miss, with the market breaking out to new highs. I figured it would have been a good week to take some time off, being that it was option expiration week, oh well.

I must say looking for a career can be very stressful. I hate the fact of starting at a new place and being the new guy, that's never fun! But, oh well you have to do it.

I have also come to the conclusion that Lafayette, Louisiana is probably not the best place to start a financial career. I think I'm better off moving to a bigger city like Houston, or maybe somewhere further like Chicago or New York. I'm not sure what to do-- decisions, decisions, and more decisions! Ahhh, you just got to love growing up, it's so fun, Not!

Make sure to visit my links, wink wink, on graduation day!

Oh yeah, one more thing, how about aQantive! Six Billion for the company, congrats to the shareholders. I dream of the day I wake up and one of my stocks is up 28 bucks. Well, at least one of my dreams came true-- I'm a college graduate!

Enjoy the graduation. Try looking for job opportunities in growth cities like Charlotte, Orlando, Phoenix, Atlanta, etc. You will probably be much happier.

Congratulations. Chicago welcomes you! I moved here a year ago from the east coast and couldn't be happier. I will be looking for a new roommate this summer/fall...

Many congratulations. I'll short some QID in your honor. Find a job soon, since I could use some financial advise.

You know if you come to Chicago you have to be a Bears fan.

congratulations. i'd say houston has quite a bit of opportunities in the oil trading arena but you seem more into equities as am i.

i hear you about AQNT. i'm hoping that happens to MNST soon. i'm in at an average price of 49.37. call options and recent price action say a buyout is coming.

Congrats. Whatever you decide, make sure to think (and believe) BIG. The beginning is not a time to limit yourself.
